- The BAPTISM in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask
- The BLESSED HOPE, the rapture of the church
- The RESURRECTION of the saved and lost; The lost to everlasting damnation and the saved to everlasting life
- MARRIAGE, in accordance to God's word, is only between one man and one woman

Cornerstone Church of Baton Rouge is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our primary reason for existing is:
to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind. As Disciples and Ambassadors of Christ, we are called to represent Him rightly: in love, true worship, compassion, holiness, selflessness, making disciples of all men through the preaching of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. As spirit filled believers, His word is our standard and authority. God supplies to us the strength needed to live this life by His Spirit and His Grace.
